She created the Warrior Woman Project® back in 2014 after identifying that much of her own journey resonated with other
women who were feeling stuck or lost in their own worlds.

Then in 2017 after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease she realised that the ‘health’ journey she was on was more damaging that it was doing her good.

She has since taken her health in to her own hands and managed to become medication free in just a year (after being told it would likely be medication for life).

Jen helps her clients work out what it is they want in life, who they truly are and what they are truly capable of, and work from a place of self-love.
With a background in fitness, nutrition, NLP, massage, Pilates, Yoga, meditation and coaching she has a wide and varied approach to helping the world heal.

Dr. Lacey Chittle is a functional medicine practitioner with a virtual consulting practice based in the San Francisco Bay Area.  She specializes in chronic fatigue, digestive disorders, and autoimmune conditions. 
 
Like many people in medicine Dr. Lacey was led to this work from a personal experience. With an interest in all things health and fitness, as a youth she was an athlete.  That interest first led her to become a personal trainer, then study exercise physiology in undergraduate school and continue those studies in graduate school to finally become a doctor of physical therapy. Later her studies continued in functional medicine allowing her to provide the most comprehensive care to her patients today. 

 

For those not familiar with functional medicine, it is personalized medicine, based on your individual biochemistry, genes, & personal life history. Using this information to get to the  "root cause" of  medical condition so symptoms may be elevated rather than masked.

 

After her own health scare, which included partial loss of vision due vasculitis, IBS, chronic pain in muscles, joints, tendons, chronic migraines and crippling chronic fatigue, and a fair amount of time trying to control this mysterious illness with conventional medicine, she decided to take the power back into my her hands. Using her knowledge of biochemistry and physiology to uncovered the root cause of her condition. She used targeted diet lifestyle and supplementation to correct the imbalances in her body.  With a training from the Institute for Functional Medicine she now helps others unravel their complex health conditions and teach them to reclaim and maintain their health and vitality.

EP 020: Scott Reid: Making an impact on the world and building strong ethics that lead to success

Scott is an expert in strength and conditioning, he also coaches functional nutrition.

His passion for everything sports orientated was evident from a young age, as a young man he captained the school football team whilst representing  his county on several occasions, he also trained at pro level with Brighton & Hove Albion and competed at county level in track and field.

Scott continued to play semi pro football into his mid twenties but no one could have expect what would come next.

Although training had been part of his life since a child it wasn’t until the year 2000 that Scott started to hit the free weights with a vengeance, it soon became apparent that he was much stronger than his size would have suggested and he made strength gains in leaps and bounds. When Scott retired from football it allowed him to take his training to the next level and in 2004 he started training for Strongman, he competed many times in Europe and Scandinavia before winning Britain’s Strongest Man U105kg in 2007 also representing Great Britain at the 2007 IFSA Worlds Strongest Man U105kg which was held in China.

Scott’s success continued in 2008 where he competed all over Eastern Europe before going on to win Britain’s Strongest Man for a second time in 2008. 

Strongman had taken its toll though and Scott was struggling with a bad back injury which ultimately forced him to step away from competition and instead use his knowledge and hard earned skills to train others. Scott now coaches MMA Athletes, Strongmen, and Cross-fitters to name but a few, helping them to implement a well structured diet and become more powerful explosive versions of themselves. Scott also trains in BJJ and MMA himself as he says it keeps him humble!

Scott’s passion for understanding the human body and how to optimise every aspect of it has driven him to study under legends such as Paul Chek. He now uses those skills to help Focus Performance “ the company he founded “ with the research and development of their ever growing product range.

Join former winter Olympian, Jason Sklenar MBE uses the discipline he gained in the military and from his Olympic adventures to stay healthy and fit approaching 50... 

Jason has gained a wealth of experience, working as a fitness instructor, coach and competing at the highest levels in sport as an elite athlete. A veteran of four Olympic games he has worked as an athlete, coach and manager, with responsibilities ranging from team coach and manager to a TeamGB ambassador for the British Olympic Association. Assisting with current winter Olympians in managing performance and nutrition. He has been awarded an MBE for his sporting achievements and the development of others in sport. While an athlete he worked toward a BSc degree in Sports Science and Performance at Bath Uni and also holds an MSc in Exercise and Sports Nutrition from Oxford Brookes. Having recently represented GB at triathlon European Championships, as an age group athlete, Jason is still very active. His current aim is to qualify for Ironman World Championships Kona, while juggling being a dad of three and running his own online coaching and nutrition business ‘Smarter Coaching Solution.
